Recognising the importance of first aid in your home or workplace NSTA can design and present our bespoke courses contextualised for your workplace:

- Family / Community groups who require specific first aid for pool safety / CPR, and minor first aid injuries that occur in the home

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), remote area first aid, the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. Hence, a diploma in first aid will certify the learner to undertake the duties and job of a first aid provider. Our instructors are trained first aid providers, therefore, apply for first aid course (NSTA) to gain a diploma.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings, NSTA can offer the following first aid courses in our professional training centres or in your own workplace.

HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
